I had a dream. In the dream I was visiting a church with a guest prophet as the speaker. After the
meeting was over, people were milling around and then formed a line. So I got in the line with most of them sitting in chairs lined up to meet the prophet. As I got closer I heard the prophet say, “I can't prophesy to these people, they don't have any goals. They are just satisfied with where they are. Meaning; “It is hard for me to prophesy to them.” I thought to myself, how selfish of him.
Then it was my turn. I heard him say, “Behold! My Glory, My Gold!”
As I meditated on this dream I realized that some Christians in their “Golden Years” are just peacefully waiting to die, thinking they don't mean anything to God or are no longer useful to Him.Then I heard the Lord say, “You are like Golden Clouds of Glory announcing My soon coming for all to see.”
This is what God is saying to us who are in our “Golden Years”:
“Behold! My Glory, My Gold. You are like Golden Clouds of Glory announcing My soon coming for
all to see!”
I remember when my mother was in a nursing home and had a massive heart attack. They told us she was dying, and her organs had already started shutting down. She was 93 and thought her life was over. I asked her if she wanted to live and she said, “ I'm not good for anything, what can I do?” I said,“Mother, you can pray for your children and grandchildren.” She said, “Oh, I guess I could do that. Then I want to live.” So we prayed for her, and I told the nurse, “Get the doctor. This woman wants to live!”
After that she lived to be 99, with just 10% of her heart working. She had purpose and was used by God to bless many people.
BEHOLD! MY GLORY, MY GOLD!
That dream has a message for all of us, regardless of age. For whatever reason, age, confusion, lies, distraction, many have been led to believe they don't matter and don't have a purpose. We all have a destiny and a purpose and if we are still on this earth, we still have opportunity to start living that destiny and accomplishing that purpose. Thanks for sharing this dream Keith.
