A Prophetic Word released in Lawrence KS, on Sunday, May 15, 2022
For this purpose are the sons of God manifesting - to destroy the works of the evil one - to loose, let go, untie, unbind, break down, annul, dissolve, release and end the works of the evil one. The Lamb of God laid aside His glory, came to earth, lived perfectly, gave His life, plundered hell, and rose again so you can be more than a survivor.
Your good, good Father wants to change your garment today. You shall release the tattered rags of a mere survivor, the torn t-shirts of shame and inferiority, and you shall receive a new coat of many colors - the gift for a favorite child. You are a favorite child. Child of favor - receive the new garment of the glorious One - the many-colored coat - the garment of the 7 Spirits of God - The Spirit of the Lord, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.
Don’t analyze.
Stop mourning.
Just change your garment today.
Put on the coat I made for you. I hold it out for you. Step into it. See how it changes everything. Let it. Let it. Let it change everything.
I hear your heart object - some of you are offended, thinking, “After all I’ve been through, can it be this easy?”
What if it is? Will you miss your day of visitation? Will you miss this opportunity, this invitation, to shed the old controlling skin like a molting snake or a locust’s shell? My gospel really is this good news.
Beauty for ashes. The oil of joy for mourning. Even once and for all.
I hear your heart ask, “What is my identity if it is no longer ‘survivor’?”
How about “Chosen One”?
How about “Overcomer”?
How about “Accepted”?
How about “Beloved”?
How about “Favorite Child”?
How about “Priest and King”?
I speak to your spirit man this morning - What are you wearing?
In worship, I heard: Some are harassed by the enemy because they have not changed their garments in the spirit realm. They are wearing “survivor” garb instead of the “overcomer” garb I died to provide.
The Holy Spirit took me to Zechariah 3 and showed me the changing of Joshua’s garments in an encounter with the Lord and with the prophet. Joshua was already a priest, but his garments had been soiled. After he was clothed anew, the prophet said, “Let them set a fair mitre (turban of the priests) upon his head.”
This is for those identified by the pastor when he said, “Some of you do know how to access the deeper things of God, but because of church hurt, or confusion, or experiences in the past, you no longer pursue Him like you used to.”
Let a fair mitre be put upon their heads, and let them be restored to the position and role of priests unto our God this day.
